Piedmont Land Cover: Classification of land use and land cover

The dataset, in vector form, contains information relating to land use and land cover associated with the geometries of the regional geotopographical database (BDTRE). The attributes are organized according to the project classifications Land Cover Piedmont (LCP), Corine Land Cover (CLC III level), Eagle (LCC, LUA, CH). lineage	Il metodo di produzione del dato è una applicazione sperimentale del progetto europeo EAGLE (https://land.copernicus.eu/eagle). A partire dal database geo-topografico regionale (BDTRE) arricchito con informazioni tematiche (Carta Forestale , Piano Paesaggistico Regionale,Uso del suolo prevalente secondo la classificazione del Censimento agricoltura ) e nuove informazioni derivate da immagini satellitari (Copernicus e Telerilevamento Piemonte) riportate sulle particelle della Mosaicatura Catastale. Le informazioni integrate sono state riportate alla nomenclatura definita nel progetto Eagle e sono stati prodotti livelli geografici organizzati secondo le nomenclature Eagle Land Cover Component, Eagle Land Use Attributes, Eagle Characteristics, successivamente ricondotte alla legenda CLC III liv arricchita da approfondimenti della legenda specifica LCP (IV, V liv).Metodi di produzione del datasetLCP è strutturato come un insieme di informazioni raccolte su data base ed elaborate per la produzione di un dato in formato vettoriale sul territorio della Regione Piemonte.Tale dato è il risultato della sovrapposizione di diversi livelli informativi contenenti informazioni di uso copertura del suolo codificate secondo le specifiche legende del progetto.Altre informazioni sono disponibili nella pagina descrittiva del progetto:https://www.geoportale.piemonte.it/cms/progetti/land-cover-piemonte
