Important note: The data set is updated daily under OpenData NRW! According to § 15 a paragraph 2 of the Landscape Act NRW, the technical contribution of nature conservation and landscape management contains an inventory and an assessment of the condition of nature and landscape. From this, models and recommendations for the protection, care and development of nature and landscape can be derived, especially for a biotope network. As a spatial reference basis at the level of the technical contribution, a comprehensive landscape structure is undertaken in the form of landscape areas. The demarcation refers to natural conditions as they are the basis of the natural space classification and also takes into account the current usage structures - infrastructure, structural use, forestry and agriculture. The natural, cultural features and the landscape of the area as well as its development to date are described in a “landscape document”. In a model, a development of the landscape that is favorable from the point of view of nature conservation and landscape management and that is as conflict-free as possible is described, and goals and concrete measures for achieving a condition that is close to the model are formulated. The models as well as concrete goals and proposed measures for the landscape areas are a basis for the formulation and spatial presentation of development goals in the regional plan (landscape framework plan) and in the landscape plans.
