Water Framework Directive (flats)

The areas, represented as areas, that are important in the Water Framework Directive (WFD). The WFD is a European directive that is intended to achieve and maintain the quality of ground and surface water in Europe at a good level. On 22 December 2000, the Water Framework Directive came into force.
