The WMS shows the site properties for forest sites in NRW on a scale of 1 : 50,000. The overall water balance and the natural nutrient supply of the locations are shown. It is an evaluation of the soil map of NRW 1 : 50,000 in connection with climate data from the climate atlas of NRW (1981-2010, LANUV NRW, DWD) and relief data (DGM10, Geobasis NRW). All soil areas are treated equally, regardless of their current use as forest sites or potential forest sites.
