Intensity images from the echoes of the Lasercscanner measurement recording - Free State of Saxony

As a supplementary product, intensity images are created during the laser scanner measurement recording. All objects on the earth's surface have different spectral reflection properties due to their physical properties. The intensity with which the incident laser beam is reflected depends on these. A greyscale image, the so-called intensity image, is derived from the intensity information of the reflected laser beam echo. The existing intensity images were generated from the intensities of the first and only echoes. Since 2020/2021, the update has been carried out in batches every 6 years (2 batches per year).
