INSPIRE SN Mineral Resources

The dataset contains information on mineral resources in the Free State of Saxony. The data set shows the areal distribution and other attributes (e.g. degree of exploration, petrography, stratigraphy and reserve classes) for the following mineral resources - provided that the conditions specified by the Saxon State Office for the Environment, Agriculture and Geology are met. These are gravel, gravel sand, sand, solid rock for crushed stone and chippings, solid rock for cut stones, limestone, dolomite stone, marble, clay, kaolin, loam and brick clay. In addition, it contains geo-information from the Saxon Oberbergamt (OBA) on mining projects by mining companies in Saxony, from the planning, construction and management of a company to the rehabilitation and cessation of all mining work.
