Purchasing data Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management 2017

Purchasing expenditure is the expenditure made by the central government on goods and services from suppliers. Once a year, the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations receives information about the purchasing expenditure of the previous year from all ministries and service units falling under them. The ministry uses this information to provide government category managers, who purchase and tender for the generic purchasing categories, with government-wide purchasing information. Since 2012, this purchasing information has also been used to inform the House of Representatives about purchasing by the government and the share of small and medium-sized businesses in it. This is done in the National Government Annual Report.
