The dataset contains the following components: Industrial estate: These are the designated sites as they exist in reality. The basis of these contours are the most recent digital zoning plans with economic destination, expanded with the actual contours of use plots that connect to the site in one block and are therefore part of the business zone as known in reality. Business park plot: Overview of the use plots within a industrial estate for which information is collected regarding buildings, function, use and availability and, if known, supplemented with information about bottlenecks (restrictions). Usable plots refer to the visually observable plot (built-up or not), which may consist of part or more cadastral plots. Business park plot offer: Plots that are offered for sale or rent. Contains a reference to the use plot, the offering organization and the website where the plot is offered. Registered organization: a table that contains the details of all organizations that act as a provider of an industrial park plot or as a developer or manager of an industrial park. Developable industrial zone: designated (sub) sites with ongoing development or (sub) sites that have not (yet) been developed. Managed industrial zone: (part of) an industrial site on which some form of management is present. This may involve a point of contact, digital management or legal management. Planning zone with economic destination (business park in planning): overview of future economic zones or conversion of existing zones to a non-economic destination from draft (re)zoning plans that have a public character to have. These are plans in the phase where the date of the plenary meeting is known or where the plenary meeting has already taken place. Vlaio is the authentic geographical data source for the industrial estate and industrial estate plot layers.
