Image-based digital surface model (bDOM)

Digital surface models are digital, numerical models of the heights and shapes of the earth's surface, including buildings and vegetation, reduced to a regular grid. DOM depict the situation at the time of recording (image flight date). Due to different recording times, jumps in height can occur, for example, in vegetation and water areas. The grid width of the bDOM is 1 m. The bDOM is updated in the cycle of land surveys (three years). The data is provided free of charge via automated procedures or by self-extraction. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.
