Hydrometric station

Station in which surveys are carried out on the water of rivers, lakes or reservoirs, referring to one or more of the following elements: height of water, flow rate, transport and storage of sediments, temperature and other physical properties of water, characteristics of the ice sheet and chemical properties of water.
