Height Control Points (HFP)

Location and height of the height connection points in the area of ​​the city of Aachen. On December 1st, 2016, the states of the Federal Republic of Germany introduced a new implementation of the official geodetic spatial reference, the so-called integrated spatial reference 2016. This means that uniform and highly precise coordinates for position and height as well as gravity values ​​are now provided. In this context, following the evaluation of the latest survey data, the position coordinates and the elevation values, among other things, were adjusted. While there were no changes worth mentioning for the position coordinates, the height values ​​in Aachen have changed from +1.5 cm to +2.0 cm. The new designation of the heights is "heights above mean sea level (NHN) in DHHN2016".
