GPBV installations in Flanders in the context of the Industrial Emissions Directive (RIE) via POI service

Industry plays an important role in our society, but it has a major impact on the environment. To deal with this, industrial installations with a potentially major impact on the environment are subject to European legislation on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (GPBV) or Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC). This dataset contains the GPBV installations under the scope of the Industrial Emissions Directive. The GPBV installations are sorted by main activity. This is the activity shown in bold after clicking on a GPBV installation. The following categories and types occur: - GPBV installations industry: Energy industries; Production and processing of metals; Mineral industry; Chemical industry; Waste management; Pulp and paper industry & the production of wooden panel materials; Textile industry; Tanneries; Slaughterhouses & food; Destruction or processing of carcasses or animal waste; Surface treatment using organic solvents; Manufacture of carbon or electrographite by combustion or graphitization; Capturing CO2 flows for geological storage; Preservation of wood and wood products using chemicals; Independently operated treatment of waste water - GPBV installations, livestock farming: Intensive poultry farming; Intensive pig farming for fattening pigs; Intensive pig farming for sowsIt is possible that a type does not contain any installations, this type is not displayed in the Geopunt map or INSPIRE map application.
