Global Radiation in November

The map shows the mean monthly values ​​for global radiation in kWh/m². The higher the global radiation at the location, the more suitable it is - in principle - for the use of solar thermal energy or photovoltaics. However, other factors also play a role, such as shading, the angle of inclination of the selected area, statics, e.g. when using systems on roof areas, and much more. The data comes from the radiation and climate measurement network of the German Weather Service from the period 1981 to 2010.
