Exceedance days for particulate matter (PM10) in North Rhine-Westphalia

According to EU Directive 1999/30/EG, from January 1, 2005, only a maximum of 35 exceedances of the PM10 daily mean value of 50 µg/m3 per year are permitted. The file contains since 01.01. This value is exceeded in the current year, broken down into two different measurement methods. In the upper part of the table you will find the daily updated results of the continuous measurements. The results of the reference method are listed in the lower part. For technical reasons, the results of the reference method are not currently available, but usually only about 6 weeks after the end of a month of measurement. They are updated monthly. Please note that each measuring station is only listed once. If both methods are used at a measuring station, only the results of the reference method are considered for the assessment of the exceedance days. Within the framework of quality assurance, the more precise reference method is given priority over the continuous method.
