DSI - Provincial RUP - Overdrunk

This dataset contains the digital vector version of all plan elements - of the overprint type - of the provincial spatial implementation plans, both those definitively approved and those in preparation. The suspensions and annulments of the Council of State are also included in this. A plan element is an object with which the government concerned displays the scope of (part of) the spatial option that it has taken on the basis of certain urban development regulations on the graphic plan, if it deems this necessary. Conceptually, this object can always be reduced to a plane, line or point, to which a certain legend symbol has been assigned. To guarantee the link between a “location” and the “full set of regulations applicable at that location”, it is necessary to unravel a plan into several complementary geodata layers in vector format. In this way we obtain a clear link between regulatory texts and their associated plan elements. Overprint surface regulations concern a detailing of or an additional condition on a ground surface, regardless of whether the latter regulation belongs to an older plan or the same plan. In practice, this means that for the areas in question, the overpressure regulations must still be read together with 1 or more underlying regulations (from an older plan or from the same plan), because they do not replace the underlying ground surface regulations. The plan elements are available in this dataset to the extent that they have already been uploaded by the relevant provincial government, which owns the data and is responsible for the content.
