Enterprises: number of enterprises and employees by legal form of the enterprise

The dataset contains data relating to companies in the Municipality of Milan, classified by Ateco 2007 code (2 and 5 digits) and by legal form. The data concern the number of enterprises, the number of employees and self-employed workers and the total number of employees (sum of the two previous items). NOTE 1: Employment figures are calculated as work units. In this regard, it should be remembered that the full-time work units (AWU) can refer to the work performed in the year by a full-time employee, or to the equivalent amount of work performed by part-time workers or by workers who carry out a double job. (Eg two part-time workers at 50% equal 1 work unit). The work unit is therefore not linked to the individual natural person, but conventionally refers to a standard full-time work quantity defined by national contracts. This explains the presence of values ​​with decimal places. NOTE 2: The data is updated to the last year available. Waiting for the final ISTAT data for the year 2012.
