Digital Surface Model (DOM)

The digital surface model (DOM) describes the interface between the solid surface or water surface and the air. Vegetation and development as well as temporary objects on the earth's surface (e.g. parked cars) are also included. The DOM consists of a regular grid with a grid width of 0.4 m. In addition, an interpolated color value from the aerial photographs of the Bavarian flight can be given for each grid point. The DOM is made from the aerial photos of the Bavarian flight. A quality-assured DOM is available for data from the 2015 vintage.
