Demonstration of a preliminary combination of sea ice classifications from optical and SAR data

Sea ice information (classification) from Sentinel-3 SLSTR data and Sentinel-1 SAR data (Aythetical Aperture Radar). One result of EisKlass31 was the demonstration that a combination of both sensors allows a much more detailed description of the ice types than classification from just one data source.
