DBGT10K 2020 - 04 Route channel

Artificial watercourse, i.e. made with the insertion of an artifact in natural or artificial materials, built for the purpose of supply, irrigation, navigation, reclamation, etc. The path of each instance of this class is obtained by aggregating in an orderly manner, according to the direction of water flow if constant or according to a conventional homogeneous direction, water elements that represent its layout; in some cases, i.e. when the identification of the channel corresponds not so much to the identification of the infrastructure as to the name of the waters that follow a certain route according to adequate regulation methods at the intake points, the same water element can belong to several channel traces. A channel can be characterized by its wetted areas, if detectable. Channels that derive from or flow into natural water bodies must be adequately connected to the natural drainage network.

lineage The DBGT10k is structured in hierarchical categories called Layers, subdivided into Themes which are in turn subdivided into Classes. The territorial entities of the DBGT10k are related to each other through key fields. The geometric content of the Dataset derives from the aerial photogrammetric restitution made on the basis of the 2013 flight for the layers relating to the roads, Hydrography Buildings and pertinent areas, while for the Geology it derives from the CTR, for the vegetation from the 2008 Land Use Map , for the electricity networks from quick survey on 2013 orthophotos and for the water networks from the master plan of the Sardinian aqueducts. The alphanumeric content derives not only from the aerophotogrammetric restitution, but also from various databases (Land use map, DB Prior, ANAS and PROVINCE traffic graphs, Landscape assets directory, etc.). The simplified DBGT10k contains all the information of the DBGT10k Classes, grouped in a single class if in the original DBGT they are connected to each other through the key fields. Furthermore, the information content has been created by replacing for each Class, all the codes of the attributes foreseen by the Attachment 1, with their decoded value (e.g. for the type attribute of the "Forest" Class corresponding to code 01 the relative value "predominantly coniferous woods" was used. The structure of the Dataset complies with Attachment 1 to DM 10 November 2011. This version of the DBGT contains additions and corrections.
