lineage | The published data derive from the Extraordinary Environmental Remote Sensing Plan (PST-A), managed by the Ministry of the Environment (MATTM) aimed at enhancing knowledge tools and strengthening the ability to observe and control the territory with the use of Remote sensing. The first phase of the PST-A (2008 - 2009) involved the processing with interferometric technique of SAR images acquired by the ERS1/ERS2 and ENVISAT satellites between 1992 and 2008 throughout the national territory. The second phase (2010 - 2011) led to the integration of the database already established in the previous phase. The interferometric dataset was updated with the processing of SAR images acquired by the ENVISAT satellite from 2008 to 2010. The third phase (2013 – 2015) enhanced and updated the previously created Data Base by processing 100 frames (40 x 40 km) of images from the COSMO SkyMed satellite. |
