Income statement

The income statement is an accounting document that summarizes, for a given period (usually the fiscal year, 12 months): • what the community sold or produced (the products); • what it consumed (the charges). The income statement will therefore retrace the life of the community over a year. Therefore, we will be able to determine the accounting result (profit or loss ) on the year, making the difference between: • operating products (7 class account); • and operating loads (count class 6). Products: Merchandise Sales Production goods and/or services Commissions Operating Grants Reversals of endowments and provisions + financial products + exceptional products Fillers: Purchases of raw materials and/or goods Other purchases and external fillers Taxes and duties Personnel expenses Depreciation and provisions + financial charges + exceptional charges
