BRO - Groundwater Monitoring Well (GMW) under INSPIRE

This dataset contains data on groundwater monitoring wells from the Basic Registration Subsoil (BRO), harmonized to the INSPIRE dataset specifications for hydrogeology. A groundwater monitoring well is a work that has been realized in a drilled hole in order to register changes in the groundwater in a specific part of the subsoil over a longer period of time. Typically, a well consists of an assembly of monitoring tubes protected by a structure at the surface. A monitoring pipe of a groundwater monitoring well forms a measurement point in a groundwater monitoring network in the Subsoil Key Register.
