The Netherlands Nature Network (NNN) is a coherent network of nature and agricultural areas with high natural values. The NNN aims to preserve, protect and strengthen the wealth of plant and animal species (biodiversity). In this way we contribute to a vital national and international system of nature reserves. The realization of nature objectives goes hand in hand with strengthening agriculture, the regional economy and water tasks as much as possible. The NNN boundary of Overijssel has been included as a regulation in the Overijssel Environmental Regulation. On March 3, 2021, the Provincial Council of Overijssel adopted an updated Environmental Vision and Environmental Regulation. These are policy changes that have been previously adopted. Furthermore, omissions have been corrected. This dataset concerns the changed NNN boundary that has been established as part of this update. The NNN is part of the Zone Entrepreneurship with Nature and Water (Zone ONW). In addition to the boundary of the NNN, the dataset also contains the Zone ONW areas outside the NNN. here the policy is aimed at creating space for economic developments such as agriculture, recreation and nature-related living and working locations (for example, new country estates). This part of the ONW Zone is roughly delimited. The NNN areas, on the other hand, are limited at parcel level. This version was made for the Nature Information Card (IKN) and only contains Zone ONW.
