Protectable timber stands

The Municipal Executive decides to draw up a List of Wood Stands Worthy of Protection, with which the trees and other wood stands on this list enjoy special protection. The Tree Ordinance describes the special status of these trees. A list of municipal monumental and valuable trees was established in 2009, which has been updated on the basis of the database. Newly added to the list are the monumental trees owned by chargé d'affaires other than the municipality, the so-called private monumental trees. The private monumental trees were inventoried and assessed on site in 2019 and are now also protected with the adoption of this list.
