A WMS (Web Map Service) is a service that produces maps of spatially referenced data starting from geographic information, and is a technical specification defined by the OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium). This WMS presents the "Geodetic and photogrammetric information" layer. It is part of the Bodies Reference Territorial Database (BDTRE), structured according to the national technical specifications (DPCM November 10, 2011), brings together geodetic information (planimetric networks, altimetric networks , ...) and information on the cartographic and photogrammetric coverage of the territories. The contents of this service are divided into the following levels corresponding to the classes of the BDTRE: - Geodetic information - Cartographic information and metainformation - Photogrammetric information The maps can be viewed using various software (e.g. QGis)
