Bathing monitoring areas - 2017 update

Homogeneous stretches of coastal strip identified on the basis of knowledge of the pressures that insist thereon and the characteristics that characterize it. This makes it possible to consider the monitoring point internally as representative of the quality of the entire area. The characteristics of the coast and the pressures that insist on it make the size of the areas uneven throughout the region. In fact, the areas fluctuate between widths of the order of hundreds of meters up to over 6 km. The choice of points and areas represented have been defined following the provisions of the legislation on bathing water (Legislative Decree 116/ 2008 and Ministerial Decree 05/30/2010).
