lineage Skylogic teleport via Centallo, municipality of TurinThe Skylogic teleport based in Turin is a bidirectional broadband IP protocol transmission platform consisting of 15 parabolic antennas of 5 - 6 meters in diameter, operating in the Ku frequency band (12 ¿ 18 GHz) and K (18 ¿ 27 GHz) with power from 80 W to 303 W. All dishes are pointed towards geostationary satellites and, therefore, should have a fixed radiation direction (within + 0.5°). Given the increasing concern on the part of citizens residing in the area adjacent to the plant, the City of Turin, ARPA and the company that owns the plant have arranged, in agreement with the residents themselves, to set up a continuous monitoring system of the transmission characteristics of the antennas (power and direction of transmission). ARPA Piedmont - Continuous monitoring of the electrical characteristics - every day Skylogic downloads the power values ​​and transmission direction (elevation and pointing) recorded every 15 minutes onto an FTP server specifically set up by Arpa each of the 15 antennas. These data are processed and presented in the form of graphs. The map below shows the positions of the parabolic antennas, navigating within it it is possible to consult the names of the individual antennas and the graphs containing the emission characteristics updated daily.
