lineage | Arpa Piemonte, in the headquarters of the Radiation Thematic Department, for forecasting and protectionist purposes, has an archive of the technical data of all the telecommunications systems authorized to transmit on the regional territory. To obtain the overall evaluation of the plants on the regional territory, this has been divided according to a grid of 20 meters on each side. In each cell obtained, where there are contributions from several plants, these have been added quadratically. For performance reasons, only the values of the individual evaluations above the threshold of 1V/m were considered, therefore where the symbology is not present it means that the calculated values are below this threshold. Given that the reported field levels are the maximum achievable ones, often higher than those actually measured (determined by some complex factors such as the real telephone traffic conditions, or the shielding by the building), a more significant information than the electric field present in the area can be obtained by consulting the experimental measurement data, where present. |
