pedestrian traffic areas

Management of pedestrian traffic areas. Area intended for pedestrian circulation; it includes all the portions of the road platform which, within the urban areas, are reserved for the transit of pedestrians (sidewalks, pedestrian transit or parking areas, life jackets, etc.). This class does not include the road area that has become pedestrianized (for example limited traffic areas of historic centres) which retain the technical-structural characteristics of the road area used for vehicle circulation.
