Swimming water study swimming zones 2017

This file concerns the national file of locations to which RWS has assigned the bathing water function, including associated bathing water zones. The information is updated annually. The job allocation is formalized annually in a letter from the HID of RWS WVL to the provinces. Subject to function allocation, the province designates the bathing water locations. At the designated bathing water locations, RWS carries out statutory tasks: drawing up and updating a bathing water profile, monitoring the bathing water quality during the bathing season and ensuring that measures are taken to improve the bathing water quality if the monitoring has shown that the bathing water quality is not okay.
