Archaeological monument map (AMK) (history)

The archaeological monuments as used by the Rijksdienst Oudheidkundig Soil Investigation (ROB). The Archaeological Monuments Map (AMK) contains an overview of important archaeological sites in the Netherlands. The sites have been assessed on various criteria and on that basis the sites have been classified into categories with archaeological value, high archaeological value and very high archaeological value (including protected monuments).
