Groundwater bodies (OGV, 2010) (history)

There are four different groundwater bodies within the provincial border, which must meet good chemical and quantitative status. Water is extracted from these groundwater bodies at various locations for human consumption. That is why these groundwater bodies must be protected so well that the level of water purification can be reduced in the long term. This file shows the Drenthe overlapping groundwater bodies according to the classification of the Water Framework Directive, as in the Environmental Vision, map 10 (Water Framework Directive) adopted by the Provincial Council on 2 June 2010.
