TT Circuit (Environmental vision 2014) (history)

Version of TT Circuit adopted by the Provincial Council of Drenthe on July 2, 2014. The TT circuit in Assen is of great importance from an economic, recreational, sporting and employment point of view. However, the circuit is located in an environment that also has its own interests: Witterveld nature reserve, villages and residential areas, as well as recreational facilities such as campsites. It is important to reconcile all interests in a balanced way. For this reason, the province, in close cooperation with the municipality of Assen, together with all parties involved, concluded a covenant in 2012 with an integrated vision with associated implementation programs for the TT circuit and its surroundings.
