Defense fortifications from the 1930s to defend Dutch territory or fortifications constructed by the German occupiers between 1940 and 1945. The German name for casemate is bunker., 2) anti-tank wall: wall of concrete and iron intended to prevent tanks from passing through. 3) anti-tank ditch: watercourse with steep banks to stop tanks. 4) dragon's teeth barrier (Höckerhindernisse), partially dug-in, tapered concrete elements to stop tanks.
