Welfare; limits of 10% groups of income & assets

This table contains percentiles of income and wealth. These amounts are used in the classification of households into 10% groups and 20% groups, as used in various StatLine tables and publications. The 10th percentile is used as the upper limit for the first 10% group, the 20th percentile as the upper limit for the second 10% group, and so on. The target population consists of all private households with a known income, where student households can be optionally excluded. The reference date is 1 January of the year under review. Percentiles of primary and gross income and wealth are not shown for the target population excluding student households. Data available from: 2011 Status of the figures: The figures in this table for 2011 to 2020 are final. The figures for 2021 are provisional. Changes as of March 31, 2023: Due to a change in the source data, the power figures for 2019 to 2021 have been changed. Changes as of November 15, 2022: The final figures for 2020 and the provisional figures for 2021 have been added. When will new numbers come out? New figures are expected around October each year.
