This map shows the soil suitability for a specific crop for each cell (10X10m or 1 a). This soil suitability is expressed on the basis of a score between 0 and 1. This score indicates the relative production level compared to an optimal soil. The map shows the spatial distribution of the suitability of plots for agricultural production. The map contains relevant information for farmers, in particular as supporting information for crop selection. The map was produced for the Atlas Natural Capital by knowledge institutes RIVM and VITO (Belgium).
