INSPIRE Protected Sites - Provincial NNN (Nature Network Netherlands)

This data is standardized for the provincial INSPIRE delivery. The EHS is a coherent system of nature areas of international or national importance that serves to safeguard ecosystems and the associated species. In Fryslân, the provincial National Ecological Network is geometrically bounded at parcel level. This is in line with the original boundaries in the Regional Plan (2007), but with an update based on the new agreements with the national government regarding nature and the main ecological structure. The legend units 'EHS Water', 'EHS management area' and 'EHS nature' are part of the EHS. 'Nature outside EHS' and 'Management area outside EHS' are not part of the EHS.
