Environmental Measurement Locations National Air Quality Monitoring Network (LML)

The file shows the measurement locations of the national air quality measurement network in Gelderland. The National Air Quality Monitoring Network (LML) ensures continuous monitoring of the environmental quality in the air compartment. The measurements serve to verify air quality against established standards, together with models, to support the general description of air quality on a national, regional and local scale and to provide information about periods of increased air pollution (smog). The information is used for generic concentration in the Netherlands (GCN). In addition, there are a few measuring stations that do not fall under the National Air Measuring Network (LML). These stations measure particulate matter for monitoring concentrations and assessing measures to reduce particulate matter.
