Landscape development zones (Environmental Vision 2016-2020)

This file contains landscape development zones as established in the Environmental Vision for the Province of Groningen 2016-2020. We have designated landscape development zones in the Veenkoloniën and Westerwolde, with the aim of connecting them with each other and with the Hondsrug and making them more attractive for recreation. In consultation with municipalities, we are investigating whether and how more space can be offered for living and working in the outlying area, while maintaining - or rather even increasing - the spatial quality.
