Unemployed labor; duration of unemployment, 2011-2022

This table contains figures on the unemployment duration of the unemployed labor force aged 15 to 75 years. This makes it possible to determine the number of short-term and long-term unemployed. Short-term unemployed are unemployed for less than 12 months. The long-term unemployed are unemployed for 12 months or more. The figures in the table can be broken down by gender, age, migration background and level of education. The table contains both quarterly and annual figures. Due to changes in the research design and the EBB questionnaire, a revision of the figures for the 2021 reporting year was carried out in the first quarter of 2022. The figures for 2021 are not directly comparable with the previous reporting periods. Data available from 2011 to 2022 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of August 17, 2022: None, this table has been discontinued. Changes as of February 15, 2022: The annual figures for 2021 and the quarterly figures for the third and fourth quarters of 2021 have been published. The figures for the first two quarters of 2021 have been revised. When will new numbers come out? Not applicable anymore.
