Energy consumption of private homes; housing type, districts and neighbourhoods, 2017

This table provides regional data on the average energy consumption per home (natural gas and electricity) of private homes, broken down into different housing types and type of ownership for all districts and neighborhoods in the Netherlands and for the Netherlands as a whole. In addition, the percentage of district heating is only included for total dwellings, because this is relevant for the interpretation of the level of average natural gas consumption. Data available: for 2017. Status of the figures: Final. Changes as of September 11, 2019: Final figures for 2017 have been added. Changes as of February 18, 2019: The underlying codes of the classifications used in this table have been adjusted. These are now in line with the standard coding established by Statistics Netherlands. The structure and data of the table have not been modified. Changes as of September 5, 2018: None.
