Deaths registered weekly, by sex and age

This table contains provisional data on the number of deaths among the population of the Netherlands. The data can be broken down by gender and age group. Data available from: 1995 Status of the figures: The figures for the years 1995 to 2022 inclusive are final. The figures for 2023 are provisional. These figures may change with each renewal of the publication due to the fact that death registrations received later are still included. As this method is different from the method used for monthly mortality figures, minor discrepancies may occur. Changes as of 4 August 2023: The provisional figures of week 29 of 2023 have been added. When will new figures be published? Provisional figures over the preceding week are added every week. Publication is usually delayed around public holidays (e.g. King’s Day, Liberation Day, Ascension Day).
