Water extraction areas

A water extraction draws groundwater from an area that is larger than the groundwater protection area. The inflow areas actually “supply” the groundwater for the drinking water supply. The size of the intake areas is determined on the basis of the time (100 years) it takes a drop of water from the edge of the area to the point of extraction (the extraction well). When this file is delivered, this must be reported to the person responsible for the content. Version 2017.
