3D building model LoD1-DE Hamburg

3D building model LoD1-DE For the LoD1-DE data set up to and including 2022, flat roofs with an average building height are formed fully automatically from point clouds (airborne laser scanning or photogrammetry) and assigned to the buildings. Since April 1st, 2023, the LoD1-DE building model has been mathematically derived from the LoD2-DE building model. The LoD1 roof height is formed as the mean value from the standard roof shape LoD2. The building floor plan is always taken from the official digital property map, so the model conforms to the floor plan. The positional accuracy corresponds to that of the underlying building floor plan. The height accuracy is approx. ± 5 m. Large deviations are possible in individual cases with complex roof shapes. Shared geometry is maintained redundantly. The buildings are additionally blended with terrain information from the digital terrain model (DGM) kept by the state authority. There is no manual post-processing of the individual models. The modeling corresponds to the AdV product and quality standard for 3D building models. The actuality of the data basis is usually from the previous year, in the case of ALS point clouds it is also partly older. (Example: The LoD2-DE 2023 download is based on floor plans and point clouds from 2022) The LoD1-DE building model is available for the entire city of Hamburg (approx. 750 km²), including the island of Neuwerk. The data can be downloaded as a complete data set in CityGML V.1.0 format. Other data formats and excerpts can be obtained from 3d-info@gv.hamburg.de for a fee.
