Bomb map impacts

Popularly referred to as bomb map, the official name is NGE soil load map. (NGE stands for Not Exploded Explosives). Based on historical research, it has been mapped out which acts of war during the Second World War (including bombing raids) took place on the current territory of the municipality of Amsterdam. Subsequently, it was investigated whether NGE could still be present in the subsurface of these acts of war. It has been established from a large number of events that there is no reason to assume that NGE are still present in the subsurface. Subsequently, it was examined in which areas there is an increased chance that duds (unexploded aerial bombs) are still present in the subsoil. This can be important for work in the subsoil based on working conditions and/or public order and safety. The bomb map can be divided into the following categories: 1. Suspicious areas (areas where explosives may be present), with the most important components: - suspicious area - high-explosive bomb - suspicious area - rocket ammunition - suspicious areas - grenades - suspicious areas - cartridges 2. Impacts of conventional explosives 3. Safeguarded areas 4. CE investigations already carried out (delimitation of areas where investigations have been carried out)
