Nature management plan 2024 - Climate search area

File indicates in which areas compensation can be provided for climate services for climate goals through agricultural nature and landscape management. Zones to temporarily retain water to prevent flooding elsewhere. In addition, the climate measures are aimed at sustainable soil management; increasing the organic matter content of the soil, which allows it to retain more water that can be released in times of drought. Minerals are also retained so that less leaching into the subsurface and waterways occurs, which improves the quality of soil and surface water. The soil is the basis of circular agriculture. Using rough manure or crop residues increases organic matter in the soil. This part of the Nature Management Plan 2024 was adopted on 05-09-2023.
