This table contains figures on immigration and emigration of people to and from the Netherlands. The emigration figures include the balance of administrative corrections. Figures on emigration including the balance of administrative corrections provide a better picture of actual emigration than figures on emigration excluding these corrections. The figures on administrative corrections (administrative additions and administrative deletions) are also included in the table. The table distinguishes the following data: - Immigration and emigration (including administrative corrections) by gender, age (on December 31; 5 year groups 0-50 years and older), nationality and region. - Administrative admissions and removals by gender, age (on December 31; 5 year groups 0-50 years and older), nationality and region. In this table, data regarding immigration from a country are available if 1,000 or more people immigrate to the Netherlands, regardless of the period in this table. Data available from: 2010. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of September 7, 2023: Final figures for 2022 have been added. Changes as of April 21, 2023: None, this is a new table. This table is the successor to the Immigration and emigration table; gender, age, nationality and region, 2010-2021. See paragraph 3. The following changes have been made compared to the discontinued table: - The main classification Western/non-Western has been replaced by a classification based on continents and common immigration countries. - The nationalities Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Tajik, Turkmen and Turkish are assigned to continent Asia (was Europe); - By using an improved way of deriving the 'European Union (excluding Dutch)', small differences have arisen in the years 2020 and 2021 compared to the discontinued table. When will new figures be available? The final figures for 2023 will be included in this publication in the second half of 2024.
