Cultural-historical Main Structure: Archaeology, deposits and probability of occurrence

This file has data on various types of deposits. The archaeological features are presented on the basis of geological and soil structures. These are directly related to the former habitation and exploitation of the area. From old to young, the following deposits are distinguished: -Sandy deposits such as river dunes or dunes. The first habitation dates back to the Mesolithic, 8000 years ago. -Sea deposits such as beach walls or Oude Duinen The earliest traces of habitation on the dune and beach sands date from the middle Neolithic, 6000 to 4000 years ago. gully deposits, stream belts and crevasses. The first traces of habitation on the channel deposits/stream belts date from the middle Neolithic, about 5000 years ago. -bowl deposits, clay-like soils. The few traces of habitation date back to Roman times, about 2000 years ago. -Other deposits Water: Existing water (eg sea, rivers, ponds). -Not mapped: insufficient data available.
