Cultural-historical Main Structure: Landscape zones

The valuable historical landscape areas concern parts of mapped features (see map 2.a Landscape, features). Depending on the score on the evaluation, a value has been assigned, namely: very high value (red); high value (orange); fairly high value (yellow). Most landscape types in South Holland (e.g. peat reclamation, reclamation, marine clay polder) are - at provincial level - not particularly rare. As a result, they usually do not score higher than 'high value' if they are sufficiently neat and cohesive. Parts of landscapes - in intact condition - can score higher.
