Low and long-term low income; part. households by characteristics, 2000-2014

This publication contains results for households with a relatively low income. For the classification by level of income, the low-income threshold, the policy minimum and the European poverty threshold, based on the median income, are used as income thresholds. For these classifications, the number of households and the number of persons are published, both in absolute terms and as a percentage of the total target population. The table also contains data on the number of households and persons who had to survive on an income below the used income threshold for a long period of time (4 years and longer). The results are used, among other things, in reports on poverty. Data available from 2000 up to and including 2014. Status of the figures The figures for the years 2001 - 2014 are final. Changes as of January 17, 2018: None, this table has been discontinued. When will new figures be released? Not applicable anymore. This table has been replaced due to a revision of the income statistics. New figures are published under the theme Income and expenditure, see links below.
